summary
At the beginning of chapter 6 she had founded a house where the duchess, a chef, and the cheshire cat lived and they were watching a child. The duchess and the chef in the room were both very negligent of the child. The Duchess was scolding the baby every time he would sneeze despite the fact that the chef was cooking a soup with so much pepper that it was in the air. The chef would throw anything in arms reach in the baby’s direction because he only like undeveloped little girls. The thing he would throw would hit the duchess and barely miss the baby. The Duchess gives the baby over to alice who then knots the baby in a ball holding it by the ear. The baby slowly turns into a pig and runs away. While contemplating on what just happened the cheshire cat appears in front of alice on a tree and ask question about the baby then gives her directions to either the mad hatter's or the march hare’s house. Alice chooses to go in the direction of the Hatter's house.

I think the part of the story in which alice want into the house and the baby was being abused related to the victorian era and current times. I say this because the baby being cared for by the duchess was not something that happened in the victorian era. The story relates to 2016 because kids everywhere can get abused. In the story the baby was beaten every time he sneezed. The chef himself also related to current times because he only liked undeveloped little girls. This relates to current times because there are people who are crazy and will do crazy things to kids.
